MOM’S CHICKEN AND NOODLES

Mom’s Chicken and Noodles is certainly one of our favorite recipes to make inside the crockpot. Everyone loves this recipe at my house! It is ideal in the wintry weather or after the vacations if you have a further turkey to apply too! You will NOT agree with how clean that is! It is my cross-to recipe on my menu plan every month. Mom’s Chicken and Noodles are so clean to prepare within the slow cooker and taste delicious!

MOM’S CHICKEN AND NOODLES

Ingredients


2 medium split chicken breasts or boneless chicken breasts
1 large jar of Heinz Homestyle Chicken Gravy
1 can of Cream of Celery Soup
1 can of Cream of Chicken Soup
1 bag of Amish Noodles or whatever thick noodles you prefer.
Salt
Water


Instructions


Place Chicken in Crockpot on low with 2.5 cups of water overnight. (8 hours)
In the morning, turn the crockpot off and remove chicken. (make sure the top of the chicken is golden) and discard water.
When the chicken is cool, de-bone and tears in pieces.
You can place chicken in refrigerator until ready to prep for dinner or you can do this all on the same day and place into crockpot.
One and half hours before dinner add Cream of Celery Soup, Cream of Chicken Soup, 2 cups water, 1/2 the jar of Heinz Homestyle Chicken Gravy, Noodles and cover, and turn the crockpot on low.
Cook your noodles until tender about 1 hour.
Add Chicken to the crockpot and stir carefully. All the chicken and noodles should be mixed well with ingredients in crockpot.
Cover the contents with the other half of the Heinz Homestyle Chicken Gravy.
Replace crockpot lid and cook on low for 1/2 hour.
When serving salt to taste
